What will you learn?

Tuesday May 2nd: Understanding the parameters of a track including rhythm, melody, harmony, arrangement, instruments, production, and more. Analyzing songs as an A&R, understanding the artist, audience, and the making of the song.

Friday May 5th: Learn how to make better lyrics for your music: object writing and using senses in songwriting.  Arrangement techniques in Pop, Hip-Hop and electronic music.

Tuesday May 9th: Getting the most of your DAW and improving your production workflow to achieve better results – learn how to put your emotions into your DAW and transform them into finished tracks.

Friday May 12th: Audio recording: basic, intermediate, and advanced levels. Discover various recording techniques and microphones to get your music to the next level.

Tuesday May 16th: Learn about frequency range, instrumentation, and pitch relationship. Use Peak, RMS, and LUFS meters, and explore creative techniques such as sidechaining, layering, tracking, and effects as well as imaging, mid-side processing, and parallel compression.

Friday May 19th: Learn to mix tracks for loudness and dynamics, use dynamic processing, effects, compression, and limiting. Record and process instruments and vocals using imaging and processing chains. Finish, mix and master a track to a professional standard.

Tuesday May 23rd: Developing an intuitive relationship with music, creating without overthinking, and understanding briefings. Learn how to collaborate online and create three songs in groups.

Friday May 26th: Breakaway groups with tutors and finishing all songs created during the week.

Tuesday May 30th: Advanced Production & Songwriting Techniques, final tweaks and learning how to get tracks signed to a record label.

Friday June 2nd: Final Listening Session: pitch your tracks to an A&R, and gain valuable experience and feedback to help you refine your craft and increase your chances of success in the music industry.

This Bootcamp is designed for those who have some knowledge of producing on a DAW, including beginners and intermediate music producers. No matter where you are in your music journey, we’ll match you with the perfect group of instructors and fellow students, ensuring a challenging and rewarding learning experience tailored to your skill level.
All you need to get started is a laptop or computer, a pair of wired mixing headphones, and a copy of the DAW you’re using. We provide the rest of the resources and tools you’ll need to succeed in our program.

Having worked with A-list artists like Celine Dion, David Guetta, and Taylor Swift, he’s an industry expert who knows what it takes to make a hit song, and brings years of experience and A&R skills to help students define their vision.
